Open Letter to Prospective Employers

To Whom It May Concern:
 
I am a 12+ year marketing, product/brand management, and business development professional with experience in high-tech (B2C and B2B) and consumer products as well as other professional and personal experience in retail, financial services, real estate, non-profit, and entertainment.  I am interested in a senior marketing leadership position with an opportunity to build a team and lead the marketing efforts of product or service oriented organization.

With demonstrated success in B2B and B2C marketing strategy and execution, combined with a well-rounded skill-set that includes: branding, channel marketing, marcomm, direct marketing and lead generation, product lifecycle management, product launch, segmentation analysis, online/offline promotion, and business development, I feel exceptionally well qualified and prepared to lead the marketing efforts of a major consumer or enterprise oriented product line. Also, having been on all sides of the product chain - manufacturer, distribution, retail - I feel further qualified to effectively manage all aspects of distribution.

Furthermore, my technical experience with PC, networking, broadband, Internet, and wireless technologies would allow for the development of enhanced business processes (i.e. customer service/CRM) as well as future business and distribution models and promotional campaigns. Finally, my (international) business/market development experience would allow for the development of strategic alliances to both penetrate new markets/channels and capitalize on those existing.

Another major contributor to my success has to do with my competitiveness, desire, and work ethic.  I am a results-oriented person as demonstrated by my salary history, which includes consistent compensation increases in both salary and non-salary incentives over the past 10+ years.  I have achieved this success through an "intrapreneurial" approach that allows me to focus clearly on organizational goals/objectives and affect policies/processes/procedures to maximize results and efficiencies.  This approach is further enhanced (and balanced) by a strong commitment and focus on the customer experience and customer satisfaction, often the key differentiator in any business offering.  I also take great pride in a job well done and am always seeking ways to improve both my own performance as well as the performance of the organization as a whole.
